Linking an Estimating or Production Control Job to Connect

To link your Estimating or Production Control job to Connect, from the job window right-click on a line item in the bill of material and select Model Interface:
Since the job is not yet linked to Trimble Connect, we're prompted to select an existing TC job or to add a new one:
Click OK, and in the Link Project to Trimble Connect window click "Add Project to Trimble Connect".
In the Add Users to Project window, move users to be added and invited to the project to the Included side and click OK:
As seen in the Status window, Trimble Connect projects are synced, this project is added to Trimble Connect, and users are invited to the project. It also notes that there are no IFC files associated with the project – the IFC will be added directly in Trimble Connect Desktop. Click OK in the message popup.
The Model Viewer Interface window will open, and Trimble Connect Desktop will open.
Note: Alternatively, a job can be linked to Trimble Connect before opening the estimate. With the Estimating Job Edit window open, from the Estimating dropdown select "Link to Trimble Connect".
